Everything You Need to Start the Day Refreshed
Our flight from JFK to Heathrow landed around 7am London time. The flight had not been restful and we were dragging. We went through customs, collected our luggage, and headed for the Revivals Lounge. Our upper class tickets gave us access to the lounge just like they had at JFK.
Revivals Lounge hours: 5:00am to 1:30pm
At the front desk we check in, drop off our bags (our suitcases fit perfectly in the luggage room), get on the list for showers (they’re very busy most mornings), and order some breakfast while we wait.
Hot or Continental?
For breakfast, you can order things like full English or eggs and toast. But you may have had two meals crammed into your flight and be wanting something lighter. We opted for cereal, fruit, and lots of coffee.
Time to Clean Up
The staff alerts you that your shower room is ready. The room is spacious, very clean with a white tile shower, large sink, hairdryer, towels, and everything else you could need including shampoo and soap. You can control the radio that’s on in your room. I went with the BBC.
Being able to shower after a long flight is such a simple luxury, but it sets you up for a great day. I am convinced that it cured our jet lag!
